City of Idaho Falls to Hike Fees Across the Board
The Local Newspaper, The Post Register, posted an article informing all city residents of Idaho Falls that there are many fee hikes that the City is proposing to put in motion.
City Looks to Hike Fee, really breaks down the possible fee hikes that the City of Idaho Falls that may take place this year or next yar. The following, is a summary of the areas these fees will affect.
The fees proposed to increase include raising tickets/infraction costs, fees at city golf courses, parking tickets and licenses to own multiple dogs, increases to water and sewer hookup fees, an entirely new fee schedule for water use, changes to construction site fire code compliance rules & regulations and a small increase in residential power bills.
Changes are inevitable with growth and the City of Idaho Falls is there. Though fee hikes are undesirable for residents, it is necessary to keep up with rising costs of the country's economy.
